Adulis Travel is an Eritrea-based travel company founded by local guides with deep roots in the Horn of Africa. Our founders grew up walking the streets of Asmara, diving the reefs of the Dahlak Archipelago, and crossing the highlands that few outsiders ever see. That intimacy with the land — and its people — is the foundation of every journey we create.
We take our name from the ancient port city of Adulis, once the greatest trading post on the Red Sea. Like that crossroads of civilisations, we believe travel is most powerful when it creates genuine exchange — between traveller and host, between curiosity and culture.
Every tour is private by design. We do not run fixed departures or factory itineraries. We listen, then compose an experience calibrated to you — your pace, your interests, your level of adventure.
