About Yonatan
Yonatan lives and works in Asmara, where Adulis Travel was founded by local guides with deep roots in the Horn of Africa. He and his team guide travellers across Asmara, Keren, Massawa and the Red Sea coast, run 4WD routes to Djibouti's Lake Assal and Lake Abbe, and handle the practical side of every journey, Letters of Invitation, visas, internal travel permits, transport and hotels.
The company takes its name from the ancient port city of Adulis, once the greatest trading post on the Red Sea. Every trip is private by design: no fixed departures, no factory itineraries, a route composed around each traveller, led by Eritrean and Horn-of-Africa specialist guides.
