Arrival early in Asmara. Our driver will meet you at the airport to take guests to the hotel. In the afternoon we are going on a trip to Asmara. A guided tour will take you to the fascinating places in Asmara.

The journey to Keren begins right after breakfast. Keren is the second-largest City, situated 91 kilometers northwest of Asmara. Mountains surround the City, and it has a moderate climate.
Many visitors enjoy staying in Keren. The City is well known for its Baobab Tree Temple. The majestic tree has stood for centuries, and it is so graceful to watch it and pay respects. Visitors would also visit the Italian and Common Wealth war cemeteries. Following a memorable stay in Keren, In the late afternoon, return to Asmara.

A drive to the Red Sea port of Massawa, dropping from 2400m down to sea level to stay in the Dahlak hotel. We can expect it to be both hot and humid, and nighttime temperatures fall to 25 Grad Celsius.

During what will be a long day, we will drive southeast to see the ancient ruins at Qohaito: these standing stones, evidence of walls, and a rock-cut tomb date from about 2500 years ago (contemporary with Yeha in Ethiopia).
From Qohaito, we will drive to Senafe and visit the Mount Metera and Belowkelwo archaeological sites, regarded as pre-Axumite. Drive back to Asmara.
NB: This excursion is subject to confirmation for obtaining permits. If they are not obtained, the excursion will reach the Valley of Sycamores just outside the town of Segenity.

Early morning hours, we will drive to the town of Mendefera. The town is dominated by two hills on either side of the main road. Among the things to see in Mendefera include the market, the ancient Mosque, and the old Saint George Church (San Giorgio Church).
Travel further to Adi Quala, a pleasant market town 32 km from Mendefera. It is covered with vegetation and a slew of agricultural plains, small stores, and cafes.
